The Hello Quilt

This must be the fastest quilt that I've ever made. 2 days flat !! (Did I say 'fastest quilt'? What did the quilt even do?!) And the easiest. Piece strips, slice, add a vertical panel and done !








I've broken all speed records..I even uploaded and blogged about it ! All under 2 days ! I need to celebrate !! :-)

    Tina..Beautiful finish with lovely colours...the ricrac gives the colour more clarity ..great idea

    I absolutely adore this quilt!! I am a brand new quilter actually, a non quilter because I am yet to quilt!! My sis and I are just getting into quilting and have been on the net extensively researching for a while. I do have a question... Might seem really silly...but what kind of fabric do you use for quilting? Is it cotton? And/or. What else?? Looking forward to any help I might get so I can get to quilting.... :) thank you.
